Job descriptionManage revenue recognition and reconciliation for B2B and B2C sales, including large retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.) and eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, etc.). Track and reconcile chargebacks, trade promotions, and deductions from major retailers. Assist in inventory and cost accounting to ensure accurate COGS reporting. Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations. Assist in tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting. CPA required (or in progress). 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in food manufacturing, CPG, retail, or eCommerce. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting. Experience working with large retailers and eCommerce platforms. Proficiency in ERP systems (QBO, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and strong Excel skills Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and take initiative. Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses. Hybrid work environment (balance of remote and in-office in Utah). sold through major retailers, distributors, and eCommerce platforms. As we scale, we need
a detail-oriented Accountant who can support financial operations, reporting, and compliance
in a dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant with 3-5 years of
experience who wants to work in a hybrid, fast-paced, high-growth business.
Position Overview :
The Accountant will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, financial
reporting, inventory accounting, and reconciliation processes. This role will play a key part
in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting eCommerce and retail operations, and maintaining
compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Financial Reporting :
- Assist in the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Support the Corporate Controller and CFO in financial reporting and analysis.
