Accounting Specialist - Bookkeeper

Location : Burien, WA

Schedule : Part-time, 24-30 hours per week

Salary Range : $60,320 - $72,800 DOE

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join their team. The Accounting Specialist will manage day-to-day accounting functions, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with established standards and timelines.

Overview of the Accounting Specialist Role :

• Record and maintain all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and general ledger entries using QuickBooks.
• Reconcile accounts and correct discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership review.
• Process payroll, calculate wages, and verify deductions for accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and vendor communications.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with budgeting, audits, and tax preparation.
