Accountant / Accounts Manager
Location: Gig Harbor, WA | Compensation: $77,000 - $87,500/year.
Do you take pride in precision? Thrive on helping others succeed? ABC Bookkeeping & Business Support is seeking an Accountant / Accounts Manager who brings integrity, curiosity, and a service-first mindset to every client relationship.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage full monthly accounting cycles, including A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, and compliance filings.
- Clean up and maintain client books to a professional standard.
- Interpret and explain financial information clearly, with accuracy and empathy.
- Oversee client accounts and potentially lead others, ensuring timely and thorough service delivery.
- Partner with clients as a trusted advisor, not just a technician.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting + 2 years’ experience, or 7+ years of progressive experience at an accounting firm.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop & Online).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A love of details, structure, and process improvement.
- Self-discipline and follow-through - with or without supervision.
- A team-first attitude and commitment to mutual success.
Bonus Points For:
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
- Experience with platforms like Jetpack, Gusto, Swizznet, and POS systems.
- Comfort with budgeting, forecasting, or accounting systems setup.
