What You'll Do as an Accounts Payable Specialist :
Full-Cycle Invoice Processing (60%)
As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll manage a high volume of utility invoices, including indexing, routing for approval, and preparing batches for payment.
Weekly Check Runs & Payments (25%)
Take the lead on Monday and Wednesday check runs. You'll ensure timely and accurate processing of ACH, checks, and wires, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and resolving inquiries promptly.
GL Research & Support (15%)
You'll assist with general ledger coding, support month-end processes, and collaborate on AP process improvements. The Accounts Payable Specialist helps keep the financial engine running smoothly.
What You Bring to the Team :
2+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a high-volume environment, ideally with utility invoice processing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with Microsoft Teams and the full Office Suite
A team player with a proactive attitude who thrives in deadline-driven environments
