LOCATION Plano, TX | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $24.00/hour • Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM • W2 ROLE IMPACT Join a growing financial services organization supporting equity transactions and corporate ownership records for public and private companies. This role is ideal for candidates with a legal background who enjoy working with detailed documentation, compliance-related processes, and transaction management. You will play a critical role in reviewing, processing, and maintaining legal and ownership records while collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Review and process stock transactions and equity-related documentation Maintain accurate corporate ownership records and transaction files Verify legal and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy Support compliance, audit, and record-retention requirements Research and resolve documentation discrepancies Communicate with clients, attorneys, and internal stakeholders regarding transaction requirements Assist with account administration and reporting activities Manage time-sensitive transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Paralegal Certificate, Legal Studies degree, or equivalent legal experience strongly preferred 1–3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Operations Specialist, Contract Administrator, or similar role Strong document review and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism High attention to detail and accuracy Core Tools & Systems Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Document Management Systems Legal Case Management or Records Management Software CRM Platforms Data Entry and Reporting Systems PREFERRED SKILLS Paralegal experience in corporate, securities, transactional, or business law Experience reviewing legal documents, contracts, corporate records, or ownership documentation Familiarity with stock transfers, equity administration, corporate governance, or securities-related processes Experience supporting attorneys, legal departments, financial institutions, transfer agents, or compliance teams LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
