Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time)
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Rate: Up to $21.00 per hour.
Position Type: Part-Time

Join a locally and employee owned innovative and growing audiovisual integration company based in Ann Arbor, MI! We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic company.


Scope: The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting department while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval.
  • Prepare and process invoices in Solutions Q360 accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify Vendor Statements as needed.
  • Manage pending approved accounts payable.
  • Establish new vendors in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
  • Manage deposits made on required purchase orders.
  • Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9s for tax reporting.
  • Manage and reconcile multiple credit card accounts.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
  • Act as the primary back-up to the Accounts Receivable Specialist during absences

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Solutions Q360 or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to accounts payable.
