About the Role

Weee! Is looking for Accounts Payable Accountant, who will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. This is an onsite position based at our HQ in Fremont, CA, The role reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities

• Verify vendor account balances by reconciling monthly statements against the AP Aging Report.
• Review and validate vendor invoices ,obtain appropriate documentation and approvals before processing payments, ensure credit is received for any discrepancy
• Build and Maintain good internal and external relationships to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies within a timely manner
• Responsible for submitting any changes around vendor updates (banking details, address, W-9); working closely with the AP Manager on necessary updates.
• Prepare documentation for payment proposals, including checks, ACH and wire transfers
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, policies and internal controls
• Support additional accounting assignments and ad-hoc reporting as needed
