Job Description
Job Description
LHH is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable to join our client in Charlotte, NC. This position will lead AR operations within a dynamic shared services environment. The role is critical to optimizing cash flow, driving process improvements and ensuring best-in-class customer billing and collections practices across the organization. This company operates on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the end-to-end AR function, including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution
Develop and implement AR strategies to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and overall cash flow
Oversee AR teams across multiple business units or geographies within the shared services model
Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence
Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Treasury, etc.) to resolve issues and streamline processes
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to AR team members
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
8+ years of progressive experience in AR or Order-to-Cash, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Experience in a shared services or global business services (GBS) environment strongly preferred
Proven track record of improving AR performance and leading high-performing teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and AR automation tools
Pay Details : $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
