JOB SCOPE : The Data Entry Representative performs accounting and clerical duties related to efficient maintenance and processing and receiving transactions. They verify and manage invoices, transactions, and resolve account discrepancies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : Work is performed indoors in an office setting. If representatives were to access the plant at any time, they would encounter operating equipment, loud noises, and loose particles. Long periods of sitting may be required. Employees are required to follow the dress code policy which requires proper PPE to be worn when necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Sending and receiving orders from customers by using the following devices : telephone, fax, e-mail, or EDI.
• Input orders for each of our five plants into IFS (internal software).
• Ensure accuracy of all orders by verifying quantities ordered, price, product codes, ship date, weight, building loads and completing revisions.
• Send order information to plant contacts, as necessary.
• Communicate with ordering customers regarding orders.
• Invoicing orders out of Meta and correcting any issues with invoices.
• Handle customer service calls, as needed. Resolving customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Assist Shipping and Receiving with any issues that arise.
• Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, and HACCP.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Report all safety violations and hazards to the supervisor immediately and participate in all safety programs and procedures. Must always wear required PPE if found in the plant.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor to be accepted with a positive and professional attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
