About Us:
We are a leading network of Long Term Care facilities dedicated to delivering top-tier care and service to residents across Texas. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Director of Accounts Receivable to lead our financial operations and manage our team of Business Office Managers across multiple facilities.
Job Summary:
As the Director of AR, you will manage the accounts receivable functions across all facilities, overseeing collections, billing processes, and compliance with state and federal regulations. You will lead a team of Business Office Managers, fostering effective management practices to achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and streamline AR and collections processes across multiple facilities to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Provide leadership to a team of Business Office Managers, ensuring optimal performance, training, and development.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze monthly AR reports to assess performance and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial processes across departments.
- Resolve complex billing issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong payer relationships.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, presenting reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent SNF/LTC experience, or need not apply.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in AR management, preferably in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a multi-facility environment.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, with expertise in long-term care billing and collections.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
