Job descriptionIdentify viable land within the assigned geographic area Support the Land Acquisition Manager with the contracting process Gather preliminary due diligence information for the feasibility team to assist with pre-contract feasibility studies and underwriting land acquisition packages Collaborate with local, state, and federal jurisdictions to maintain expertise on market information Inform internal team members about opportunities to achieve the most economical and efficient outcome Assist the feasibility, development, and legal teams with all post-contract financial, regulatory, and contractual obligations of the purchase Perform marketing functions to engage off-market land sellers (mail packages, cold call, visit in person) High School Diploma or equivalent and 4-Year Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or similar field required; 1-3 years of land acquisition, real estate, sales, or related experience preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties Experience in residential development and / or construction industry and / or sales preferred Experience in Land Acquisition / Development planning, zoning, approvals, and / or design preferred Demonstrated ability to self-motivate Strong organizational and writing skills Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products (especially Excel) Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
