Job description

Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist/Corporate Recruiter

Cox Fleet keeps your fleet moving!

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Cox Fleet Automotive has grown to become one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country. Cox Fleet is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Cox Fleet also services customers utilizing its 50+ nationwide service centers; each offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.

Are you looking for a high impact and high visibility position in a professional yet casual atmosphere?

Are you passionate about finding the right talent for each opening to ensure long term success of each placement?

Do you take pride in the quality of your work and strive to provide the best candidate and hiring manager experience through the recruiting process?

Cox Fleet, the largest and fastest growing independent mobile maintenance service provider in the US, is looking to add a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist/Corporate Recruiter to the team. We have started in 1997 with just a few locations and a couple dozen technicians, and now with over 1200 employees in 43 states, you will be an integral part of our explosive growth trajectory. Positions that you will be filling range from Mobile Diesel/Trailer Technicians to AP/AR Admins, to Call Center Representatives, to everything else in between. Each position is unique, but each is important, and must be filled!

You must bring a relentless drive to leave no stones unturned, continuously build vast networks of passive candidates and "hunt" for the best future employees of our company, all while maintaining highest levels of customer services. If the candidate is not a good fit for us now, we might have an opening for them in the future, or they might know someone who could be a fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Find, interview, and hire exceptional talent for the organization with focus on quality vs quantity.
  • Treat each placement as if you are hiring for your own company.
  • Design, develop, and execute recruitment strategies based on business and individual location needs.
  • Source and qualify candidates through various platforms including job boards, social media, networking, and other recruitment tools to develop a strong pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with candidates to grow and manage a high-quality pipeline.
  • Set clear expectations with hiring managers and candidates, all while maintaining highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure recruitment and hiring processes and practices are in full compliance with all federal, state, and or local laws to include background checks and drug screening.
  • Working with leadership to identify areas of improvement in efficiency & productivity related to recruitment and talent development.
  • Assess internal and external recruiting resources and recommend solutions that will best meet the recruiting demands of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for identifying passive candidates.
  • Focus on results, ability to drive the recruiting process and provide responsive follow-up to both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Highly consultative and professionally polished approach to recruiting.
  • Previous experience in Executive Recruiting and/or Staffing Agency placing skilled candidates (Technical, IT, White Collar, Finance, Legal, etc.) with Sales or Marketing background are highly preferred.
  • Exceptional interviewing practices/techniques, active listening, and people skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
