Contracts Specialist
The Koch Supplier Strategies team is looking for a Contracts Specialist to support our Koch companies with contract negotiations in the technology category. In this role, you will lead the negotiation of agreements, and manage contracts with key IT and HR suppliers for Koch Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to join and contribute to our growing team.
Our team serves the family of Koch companies with supplier strategy, contracts and deal negotiations primarily in the technology category. Acting as an extension of our customers' teams, we use a framework-driven approach to understand their needs and deliver timely, profitable results.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading negotiations on contract terms and payment structures with other parties, addressing potential disputes and mitigating risks
- Developing trusted supplier and client relationships
- Applying sound economic thinking to the achievement of goals and objectives
- Applying best practices to contract negotiations
- Engaging subject-matter experts' input in a timely manner as part of the contract negotiations
- Analyzing and redlining contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities
A successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
- Ability to effectively present
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple negotiations at the same time
