Activities Aide – Full Time

The Villa at Marymount – Garfield Heights, OH $14.00/hour

The Villa at Marymount is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Aide to support our residents through meaningful, engaging daily programming. If you have experience working in a healthcare setting—especially in activities, recreation, or resident engagement—you’ll feel right at home here.

Schedule

• Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Two shifts per month required: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparing, and leading group and individual activities

• Escort and support residents to and from programs

• Help create a positive, fun, and inclusive environment for residents of all abilities

• Document attendance and participation accurately

• Assist with seasonal events, holiday programs, and special activities

• Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and activity areas

• Provide companionship and encouragement to residents throughout the day

• Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to meet resident needs

Requirements

• Experience working in a healthcare setting in an activities/recreation role required

• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality

• Ability to engage residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities

• Strong communication and customerservice skills

• Reliable attendance and professionalism

• Ability to lift, move, or assist residents as needed for activities
