Role Overview : The Activities Coordinator will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality support to residents and their families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that our residents receive outstanding care across diverse settings, including long-term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. We value strong communication skills and a dedication to resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Director of Activities in fostering residents' intellectual, emotional, and spiritual interests through individual and group activities.

Support in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating facility activity programs.

Contribute to the creation of the monthly program calendar.

Help develop personalized care plans for each resident's activity program.

Participate in discharge planning and resident assessments related to activity care plans.

Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.

Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties, and organizing games / activities for residents.

Encourage residents to engage in activities of daily living that enrich their physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus.

Experience working with Alzheimer's / Dementia patients is preferable.

Strong attendance and reliability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident, and company information.

Professional and positive demeanor with a knack for collaboration with residents, families, and staff.

Proficient computer skills to meet job requirements.
