Job descriptionSupportive leadership and a collaborative team culture Meaningful work that directly impacts resident happiness Opportunities to be creative and bring your ideas to life A workplace where your energy, compassion, and personality are truly valued Leading and supporting daily activities such as arts & crafts, music, games, fitness, and life-enrichment programs Encouraging resident participation and tailoring activities to individual interests Assisting the Lifestyle Director with activity planning and calendar preparation Supporting resident council meetings and community-wide events Assisting with transportation coordination and driving the community bus when needed Building warm, positive relationships with residents and families Bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and flexibility to every shift Performing additional duties as assigned Experience leading group activities (preferred) Energetic, organized, creative, and adaptable A genuine love for working with seniors Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire residents Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV record Ability to drive the community bus (training provided if needed) Must be 18+ (21+ required to drive community vehicles) Successful background screening Ability to work in a drug-free workplace 1+ year experience in senior living, recreation therapy, or activity programming Experience facilitating group activities CDL preferred, but not required

Alto Grayslake - Grayslake, IL
Pay : $18.00-$18.50 per hour

This is a perfect opportunity for energetic, compassionate individuals who love working with seniors and want a flexible schedule while making a real difference.
Schedule (Part-Time)
- Flexible part-time schedules available
- Mix of daytime and early evening hours
- Some weekend and holiday availability required
- Schedules will be coordinated between the two Activity Assistants to support community needs
