The Sports Challenge (Spo-Cha) Manager is responsible for managing all Spo-Cha operations and delivering an excellent customer experience. The Spo-Cha Manager will forecast, plan and manage all Spo-Cha orders, staff and finance. His / her goal is to maximize sales and revenue, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Essential Duties :
- Achieve sales goals by meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Maintain a safe & hazard free environment / sporting area, report customer injuries / accidents.
- Consult with the GM to formulate and execute a plan for achieving sales targets.
- Properly train new or existing employees.
- Take measures regarding the increase or decrease in the number of employees and maintain an appropriate roster in cooperation with the GM.
- Predict store sales, create shifts within labor budget, manage store expenses
- Do daily facility operations, environment implementation, improvement, management, and safety checks.
- Maintain facility to OSHA standards.
- Perform maintenance and repair inside the Spo-Cha building (sometimes using a stepladder to handle high places).
- Complete daily reports & task in a timely manner.
- Perform accurate inventory counts, ordering, and delivery management in order to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Assist in making decisions (promotion, salary cuts, etc.) in consultation with GM to evaluate employee performance.
- Build, share, and execute effective workflows with staff.
- Communicate important information to staff when needed.
- Resolve various problems (level of service, operations, staffing, etc.) that occur in the department with the staff.
- Perform refunds and cancellations for sales under appropriate rules and judgment.
- Conduct cash & equipment audits in accordance to LP guidelines.

Qualifications :
Spo-Cha Managers must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respects for everyone. The Spo-Cha Manager must demonstrate solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).
Education and / or Experience :
High School Diploma or two year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center / arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility / flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands / fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and / or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
