Activity Transport Driver

DATTCO currently has activity transport driver openings in our coach and tour group located in New Britain, CT.

DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company with over 2,500 employees located throughout New England. DATTCO was founded in 1924 and entered the motor coach charter business in 1964 with the New York World's Fair. DATTCO is New England's largest passenger transportation company. Our coach and tour group operates 200 vehicles and drives 6 million miles annually.

Estimate annual compensation of $60,000-75,000.

Primary responsibilities :

Transport customers to sporting events, weddings and other destinations.

Safely & efficiently navigate routes that vary by customer need.

Assist passengers.

Moving & handling of luggage.

Inspect vehicle before and after shift to ensure operational safety.

Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.

Exemplify excellent customer service through respectful, courteous, cooperative, and polite treatment of others.

Minimum requirements :

CDL (Class A or B) with P endorsement and one of the following : F, S, A, or V.

Strong interpersonal & communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work independently.

Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
