Senior Actuarial Analyst – P&C Pricing

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Property and Casualty (P&C) pricing team and contribute to our growing practice.

Job Summary : As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at GPW, you will collaborate with an experienced team of bright, motivated professionals dedicated to delivering data-driven insights to our diverse client base. This role involves analyzing and summarizing insurance data, supporting credentialed actuaries with pricing analyses, and updating actuarial models across various lines of business. If you are proactive, resourceful, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this position offers a chance to work on meaningful projects and advance your actuarial career.

Key Responsibilities :

Progress toward obtaining credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).
Conduct actuarial pricing reviews for multiple clients across various industries and lines of business.
Review and compile client-specific data from multiple sources to support actuarial pricing.
Update and maintain actuarial models using tools such as Excel, VBA, Python, and SQL.
Collaborate effectively within the actuarial team, contributing to collective goals and project success.
Communicate findings clearly and concisely to project managers and team members.

Minimum Qualifications :

Successful completion of three or more CAS actuarial exams.

Two years or more of experience, with preference for experience in an actuarial pricing role.

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Demonstrated initiative, positivity, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills; knowledge of VBA, SQL, and Python preferred.

Solid statistical knowledge and programming skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Industry-Leading Benefits :

Medical and Dental Coverage : Available on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment, with the monthly premium for employee coverage fully paid by GPW.

401(k) Plan : Immediate eligibility and full vesting, including a 60% match on contributions up to 6% of compensation and a 3% Safe Harbor profit-sharing contribution.

Paid Time Off : 21 days of PTO in the first year, plus 10 paid holidays ( time off is accrued and prorated based on start date ).

Tuition Reimbursement : Support for ongoing professional development.

Work Environment : Phoenix-based position with the potential for a hybrid schedule after the first three months.

Compensation : Base salary range : $90,000 – $110,000

Location : GPW’s office is centrally located at Central Avenue and Earll Drive, Phoenix, AZ.
