Further, you focus on achieving tangible outcomes and measurable resultsRESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Research Planning : Develop and implement strategic research plans aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements, leveraging market trends and scientific advancements.Drive innovation in research methodologies, analytical techniques, and product development strategies.Regulatory Compliance and Health Policy : Stay abreast of FDA regulations, cGMP guidelines, and other industry standards to ensure compliance in research and product development processes.Conduct health policy research and collaborate with regulatory affairs to navigate complex regulatory landscapes effectively.Scientific Innovation and Product Development : Oversee botanical authentication, analytical method development, validation, and product formulation to ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy.Champion continuous improvement initiatives in product development and testing protocols based on scientific insights and market feedback.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, production, marketing, and external partners to align scientific efforts with business strategies and operational goals.Communicate scientific findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders and represent the company in scientific forums and industry conferences.Research Project Management : Manage research projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Monitor and evaluate research outcomes, analyzing data to derive actionable insights and recommendations for future initiatives.Ethics and Compliance : -Uphold high ethical standards in scientific research and product development, ensuring integrity and transparency in all scientific activities.-Promote a culture of compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies among the research team.REQUIREMENTSAdvanced degree () in pharmacognosy, natural product chemistry, analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry / natural product chemistry, or pharmacology.Minimum of 10 years of experience in applied research, preferably in the botanicals, dietary supplement or food / beverage industry.Proven track record of leading research projects and achieving successful outcomes.Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements related to dietary supplements, botanical drugs and supplemented foods.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.CompensationIn this role you will significantly contribute to the success of all businesses in our portfolio and will be rewarded commensurately.
