About the Role : The Actuarial Department of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., has an AVP Pricing Actuary role in its growing Commercial Property business. If you are passionate about advancing Commercial Property pricing with the latest developments across disciplines such as climate science, data science, and insurtech, this is the role for you. The ideal candidate will be a skilled actuary with extensive experience in property insurance pricing, leadership, and a deep understanding of traditional and advanced pricing methodologies. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, underwriters, and risk managers to align pricing strategies with business objectives and market conditions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Develop next-generation pricing plans for Everest Insurance Commercial Property offerings across geographies and buyer segments.
• Provide analytical solutions and insights to internal partners for optimal pricing and underwriting outcomes.
• Lead review and analysis of rate changes and profitability.
• Enhance speed to market and efficiency of pricing solutions through partnerships with technology providers.
• Support annual reinsurance purchase and planning processes.
• Manage a team of 2-3 actuaries and analysts.
• Collaborate across functions to promote shared knowledge.
• Advise on pricing and portfolio management decisions, influencing business strategy with data-driven insights.
• Provide additional actuarial support as needed.
