We are actively hiring for an Actuarial Analyst IV – Remote. Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.
Your Role : As an Actuarial Analyst IV you will research and develop new methods for insurance rating. Prepares and coordinates analyses of rate filings to be submitted to rate regulatory agencies and insurance agencies. You will also act as project leader for relatively complex projects.
Your work :
Analyze large datasets related to complex actuarial functions
Evaluate currents rates based on historical loss experience, emerging risks, and market dynamics. Monitor pricing performance and make adjustments to achieve profitability targets
Develops and analyzes new methodologies for insurance rating
Evaluates analytical work done by others and makes decisions and recommendations that take into account internal and external environment
Provides training to Actuarial Analysts
Required Experience, Education and Skills
BA / BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area
At least 4 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines pricing insurance
Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as : SQL, R, Python, Radar, etc.
Strong analytical and communication skills
