Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Global Short-Tailed Pricing Actuary to join our Global Pricing team.
The role will present fantastic opportunities to learn from and engage with well-established business units across multiple regions as we renovate the pricing landscape.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity :
What youll be doing :
- Work directly with short-tailed underwriting units to support the build of an ambitious future state for Property pricing including a new globally consistent pricing model featuring : predictive modeling, integrated data pipelines, and connected 3rd party data sources
- Establish consistent and comparable technical pricing across Sompos short-tailed global business.
- Provide leadership in an evolving global property analytical ecosystem as we develop methodology, standards and tools to tier renewals, manage capacity, allocate capital and reinsurance costs, etc.
- Work closely with underwriting and pricing leadership to support the curation of a high-quality portfolio.
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring reports providing insight and MI.
- Support the development of reinsurance strategy and build compelling reinsurance submissions.
- Coordinate the annual planning process across property business units and technical staff to global ensure consistency.
- Leverage technology to develop of data assets that enhance our analytic capabilities.
What youll bring :
Salary Range : $150,000 $200,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
