The Reserving Department is looking for a Senior Manager to lead commercial auto reserving and several other reserve segments. Responsibilities include completing complex actuarial analysis, recommending reserves, collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders, improving methodology and processes, and managing financial reporting. Vision and strategic thinking will also be necessary in determining the direction of the reserving area through the identification and prioritization of projects, and through driving the successful implementation of key initiatives. This role includes direct reports and will report to the Senior Director in Reserving.
Qualifications :
5+ years prior actuarial work experience
Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS / FCAS)
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a proven ability to produce high quality, error-free work under strict deadlines
Ability to communicate complex analysis simply
Can effectively prioritize, structure, and monitor several projects at one time
Experience in leading associates / projects with a proven ability to drive results
Location : This is a hybrid role, on-site 3 days per week at Chevy Chase, MD, Chicago, IL, New York, NY.
Annual Salary
137,000.00 - $224,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate / annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
