Job description

Are you an experienced and passionate HVAC professional ready to inspire the next generation of technicians? Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a local college to find a part-time HVAC Adjunct Instructor for their Fort Worth campus.

In this role, you will help shape the future of aspiring HVAC professionals. The schedule is flexible, with instruction on two days per week and options for both day and evening classes.

Salary : $28-$30 / hr. direct hire with benefits

Looking to start at the beginning of Nov. 2024.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver lesson plans using industry-standard teaching methods, including multimedia and adult learning techniques.

Teach assigned courses, assess student performance, encourage skill development, and monitor attendance and grades.

Participate in administrative duties such as faculty meetings, graduation events, and professional development activities.

Supervise students' use of tools and equipment, ensuring proper safety practices.

Provide feedback on students' work, offering guidance for improvement.

Administer tests to track progress and evaluate training effectiveness.

Qualifications :

Must have an associate degree or higher in HVAC, engineering, business, physical sciences, or a related field.

A minimum of four (4) years of practical HVAC experience.

EPA certification is required.

If you possess a min. of 3 years.' practical exp. in construction & building maintenance, in addition to the requirements above, there is potential for a full-time role.

Must be able to provide documentation of certifications and transcripts.
