SUMMARY :
The Administrative Specialist / CM / DM will oversee the coordination and administration of configuration management activities for the C-5 ATS program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Formulates and implements procedures for managing and tracking changes to technical documentation.
- Monitors the review of released engineering change data and change accounting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
- Understands and implements baseline management concepts, processes and procedures.
- Ensure projects are completed on time.
- Maintain the Master Library of technical data and information.
- Set up or work with databases and information systems to catalogue and access information.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Associate degree in business related field with 3 or more years of experience, or a combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the aircraft, applicable flight training equipment, and a working knowledge of engineering concepts is preferred. Understanding of AutoCAD electrical and mechanical drawings, ability to review software source formatting is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and colleagues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Understanding of configuration management tools. High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and highly familiar with SQL database operation is essential. Basic understanding of computer operating systems, SharePoint, and basic network skills. Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including spreadsheets, presentation graphics, project management, and databases.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CITIZENSHIP :
U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance.
