Summary: The Part-Time Administrative Assistant for performs a variety of administrative support activities of a very responsible, difficult, and often confidential nature.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm-7:00pm (16 hours per week total)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Nursing Program staff and students
Answer phone, handle email, calendaring
Provide superior customer service over the phone and in person
Maintains cleanliness and organization in the Nursing Program and Faculty area
Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities
Photocopy, collate, and distribute correspondence
Develop and maintain department filing systems
Order and maintain supplies, and arrange equipment maintenance
Resolve questions and issues
Submit work orders
Collect, sort, and distribute mail
Assist with campus event planning, ordering supplies, catering, food, invitations, etc.
Serve as the administrative liaison between Campus and Corporate Administrative Offices
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience - Associate's Degree preferred. Five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required degree(s) must be from institutions accredited by recognized U.S. accrediting agencies. Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, transcribe minutes; and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees.
