Clinical Manager Role
This is a part-time, in-office Clinical Manager role for an RN who knows OASIS and Plans of Care inside and out. You won't be driving a visit route you'll be at our D.C. office, leading the documentation and quality side of the house: building accurate Plans of Care, reviewing OASIS assessments, and making sure our clinical records hold up to Medicare scrutiny. If you're an experienced home health nurse who wants meaningful clinical work without a full-time field caseload maybe you're scaling back, balancing other commitments, or just want fewer hours doing work you're good at let's talk.
What the job actually looks like
You'll develop and update individualized patient Plans of Care, review OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and audit clinical documentation against Medicare and home health regulations. A big part of the role is partnering with field clinicians you're the person they call when a chart has a gap or a question, and you help them get it right rather than just sending it back. You'll work in WellSky as the system of record for Plans of Care and OASIS review, and you'll help drive ongoing documentation improvement across the team. This is a desk-and-people role: clinical judgment, regulatory know-how, and a steady hand with the clinicians who rely on you.
Schedule
- Part-time, in-office at our D.C. location (add expected hours/days e.g. "roughly 2024 hours a week, days flexible" this is the first thing part-timers scan for)
- No commute between patients, no visit route, no mileage to track
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate (add a range here it's the single biggest driver of clicks on a job board)
- Company-issued laptop and equipment (confirm)
- Benefits as applicable for part-time staff (confirm what's offered PTO accrual, etc.)
What we're looking for
- Active RN license (D.C. and/or Maryland confirm which you require)
- Home health experience this role assumes you already know the setting
- Strong working knowledge of OASIS and Plan of Care development
- A sharp eye for documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- WellSky experience is a plus; if you've used a different EMR, we'll get you up to speed
A little about us
Human Touch Home Health Care has been a Washington Post Top Workplace, and for over 27 years we've provided skilled and non-skilled home health across D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We've grown the way we like by keeping clinicians, not churning through them. The D.C. office is the hub of all of it, and this role sits right at the center.
Next step
The application takes about two minutes. If you're a fit, you'll hear from a real person within 48 hours for a quick 15-minute call no panel interviews, no hoops. We'd love to have you join the team.
