Employment Type : Full timeShift : Day ShiftDescription : GENERAL SUMMARY AND PURPOSE : Provides administrative support typically for director level leaders and above and may support multiples as necessary. Provides supports through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. May, on occasion, be asked to serve as backup to other Administrative Assistants others or be asked to mentor and train other individuals.Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Schedules meetings and ensures leader(s)' calendars are up to date.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Three years of relevant experience preferably supporting manager or director level leaders.Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Meets Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations. Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls. Uses independent judgment to determine priority and sensitivity of inquiries and responses. Prepares and / or supervises the preparation of correspondence, forms, reports and other written communications as required.Schedules / coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s). May be required to take minutes of meetings. Originates, prepares, processes and edits personnel, financial or operational reports and documents. Demonstrates compliance with hospital safety policies and procedures.
