URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for a motivated System Administrator to join our growing team! Our System Administrator will provide enterprise server support and troubleshoot issues related to the OS and platforms in use at URM to include, but not limited to : VMware, Nutanix, Windows Server, Citrix, Vocollect, Exchange / Exchange Online, iVanti and others.

This position is a 100% on-site position at our Corporate office in Spokane, WA. If selected for this position, URM will not provide any relocation assistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Facilitate rapid and effective resolution of infrastructure incidents by troubleshooting with both URM IT team members and our 3rd party vendors.
• Manage system performance and troubleshoot issues related to physical iSeries servers.
• Maintain the operations of various servers, IBM iSeries systems and network components to insure proper function and availability to end-users.
• Utilizes various monitoring tools as provided such as directly reviewing system console messages, event logs, emails alerts, audible alarms from the data center environmental.
• Patch, upgrade, and maintain server operating systems and related firmware to remain compliant with IT standards and policies.
• Provide enterprise server support and troubleshoot issues related to the OS and platforms in use at URM to include, but not limited to : VMware, Nutanix, Windows Server, Citrix, Vocollect, Exchange / Exchange Online, iVanti and others.
• Assist with Active Directory architectural changes / configuration, and file / share permissions as needed.
• Work with application owners and IT peers to guide major system upgrades and new platform deployments.
• Provision and document virtual machines according to OS manufacturer recommendations and business requirements.
• Assist with capacity-planning efforts with the URM IT team.
• Support service requests, incident resolution and change management processes.
• Maintain continuing education to stay current with industry trends and new technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Support team members in resolving other issues as necessary.
