Job description
Job duties : Conduct legal research in the field of immigration law, review and analyse legal documents, summarize findings, assist attorneys in staying current with the laws, government regulations, case laws, and legal procedures. Stay abreast with the Asylum laws and other Removal Defense matters and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other legal documents using proper citations. Prepare and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions with the USCIS and the USDOL. Communicate extensively with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status and immigration procedures. Make daily notes in the firm's case documentation system.
