Description :
Ensures efficient operations of the Case Management / Social Services Office. Provides excellent customer service. Maintains records and manages information.
Position Purpose :
Acts as receptionist and performs general clerical and support duties for the department. Performs departmental word processing duties and maintains files and reports. Maintains office supplies and materials. Assists others by answering questions and referring to other individuals when appropriate.
What you will Do :
Ensures efficient operation of office : Opens mail, distributes, and duplicates correspondence and other information.+ Maintains records and adheres to department timelines : Coordinates, maintains, and updates files, records, minutes, reports, and confidential materials.+ Provides customer service to both internal and external customers.+ Answers telephones, directs calls, takes messages, handles queries as appropriate and makes follow-up calls.+ Types such correspondence as letters, memos, and reports.+ Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
Hours / Schedule :
001 FTE; PRN / as needed; typical shift hours are between 8 : 30am- 5 : 30pm but will vary; no weekends or holidays._
Minimum Qualifications :
A minimum of 1 year post high school training.+ Minimum of six months clerical, secretarial, or equivalent work experience.+ Intermediate language, basic mathematical, intermediate reasoning ability.+ Excellent telephone and public relations skills.+ Ability to interact well with people of diverse backgrounds, ability to convey positive image for department.
