Position Summary Delva Tool (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking a Buyer  for our  Cinnaminson, NJ   location . The Buyer will purchase materials and services according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures and is responsible for supply chain and vendor management. • This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. The salary for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 / year depending on experience
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Purchases materials and services according to the company’s policies and procedures. Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate terms and conditions. Maintains purchase orders to support ongoing material supply, including long-term contracts. Provides timely updates on the status of any supplier quality or delivery problems to management. Maintains open lines of communication with suppliers for prompt resolution of quality or delivery problems. Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history. Works with vendors to negotiate quality, delivery, and cost. Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records. Maintains supply system database for proper sourcing, procurement lead times, order quantities, prices, and internal delivery requirements, etc. Monitor’s supplier performance and holds supplier accountable for performance levels. Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred. 5+ years of purchasing experience required, preferably in manufacturing within the aerospace, defense, oil & gas, or satellite industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
