The Engineered Materials team is seeking an Engineering Lead to support operations involved in the production of various composite materials. Join us and be part of a team that is dedicated to driving change, fostering continuous improvement, and shaping the future of manufacturing!/ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliLeads a team of technicians to establish and maintain strategic deployment of goals and objectives of Texas Compounding/liliLeads the commercialization of new materials and processes from development to operations/liliIs responsible for identifying, implementing, and monitoring appropriate key performance metrics for the area/liliProactively identifies advances in technology and works collaboratively with RDI to create a roadmap and put practices into place/liliPlans, coordinates, reviews, completes, and assigns technical work/liliDrives continuous improvement, improved customer satisfaction, reduced waste, increased efficiency and elimination of variation in processes./liliLead projects aligned to lean six sigma principles, leads cost reductions, and yields improvements with delivery partners./liliStrong understanding of DMAIC tools; when to apply them, interpretation of results, and application of effective solutions to drive improvement activity./liliCollaborates with delivery partners to determine the appropriate priority for projects using data driven decision making and a balance of day-to-day operations support./liliHelp establish, monitor, analyze, and control department budget/liliDemonstrates continued personal growth and development./liliMentor developing technicians./liliDevelop strong working relationship with RDI, operations management, supply chain, and other business partners in order to build and deliver strategic goals./liliWork collaboratively with other plant technology leadership peers to transfer delivery results and aid in proactive problem solving./li/ulpDirection Of Others:/pulliLeads, assigns work, and reviews performance of technicians./liliAssists in the development of the future structure of the team which includes the development of key roles and processes./liliBuilds collaborative relationships across the organization. Interfaces with business partners groups responsible for our processes and methodologies, i.e. QMS, PDP, or continuous product or process improvement. Take part in governance, approval or building of methodologies or processes./li/ulpQualifications And Skills/ppMust Have Qualifications:/pulliMinimum of a BS Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science/lili5-10 years of experience in quality, engineering, leadership, or area of technical support/liliStrong commitment to be a highly collaborative servant leader in all aspects of the role/liliSolid coaching and people development skills/liliCollaborative, proactive communicator; effective both 1:1 and in groups/liliDesire to work in a manufacturing environment/liliMust demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively through written, verbal, listening and presentation skills to all levels within the organization and externally to suppliers and customers/li/ulpNice-To-Have Qualifications:/pulliKnowledge of Lean and DMAIC analyses and problem-solving approaches/liliExperience leading technicians/engineers/liliKnowledge of quality programs and initiatives, SPC and process capability, and lean six sigma principles./liliExperience working with collaborative, cross functional teams/liliComfortable working remotely with other process owners in various areas of the country/liliStrong aptitude in problem solving using analytical tools and marking process improvements/liliExperience with change management strategies/liliBackground in composites technologies i.e. extrusion, compounding, blending preferred./liliBackground in manufacturing preferred/liliDemonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance, budgeting, accounting/liliKnowledge of 2D 3D CAD/li/ulpPay Range: $101,176.00 - $156,824.00/ppCulture And Benefits:/ppAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
