Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Aerospace Millwrights for projects located in the Addison, TX area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $65-85 / hour based on experience plus $125 / day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. Job Scope :
Perform routine maintenance and operational tasks on a diverse set of machinery including :
Knee Mill
Shrink Station
Horizontal Band Saw
DMG Mori Seiki SL-603C / 1000 CNC Turning Center CNC Lathe
Makino SNC64 CNC 3 Axis
Hopper & Dryer
Responsible for the replacement and maintenance of chiller compressors, motors, transformers, and hydraulic pumps
Efficiently manage the separation of low and high voltage wiring from junction boxes to enhance safety and functionality
Collaborate with certified electricians to identify and replace non-UL labeled components as required, ensuring all machinery meets strict safety and quality standards
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, providing a proactive approach to prevent downtime and extend machine life
Maintain a daily log of all work completed, documenting progress and any issues encountered
Develop and manage a detailed timeline for all project steps, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
Official Makino technical training or significant experience with Makino machinery
Possess extensive knowledge and training in building and operating CNC machinery, ensuring high efficiency and precision in all machining tasks
Proven experience in the aerospace industry working with complex machinery
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
