Perform grinding and deburring operations on aerospace components
Conduct part marking according to specifications
Assist with large part assembly processes
Utilize blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and pneumatic tools in daily operations
Identify and report potential issues early to enable effective corrective actions
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals
High School Diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory)
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior experience in roles requiring blueprint reading and use of precision measurement tools
Basic PC skills, including proficiency in keyboard use
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
Problem-solving skills and ability to participate in group problem-solving situations
Previous experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industry
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
