Position Summary : The Senior Agile Coach / Release Train Engineer is responsible for enabling teams, up to an entire Agile Release Train, to learn, implement, and mature Lean-Agile principles and practices. This role involves training and coaching teams on Agile and modern engineering practices, empowering them to become self-managing, fulfill their cross-functional potential, and embrace a mindset of relentless improvement. The Senior Agile Coach guides and supports the transformation to Lean-Agile, educating leaders on the mindset and performing hands-on training and coaching in all aspects of Lean-Agile. They coach lead roles and teams to adopt a Lean-Agile and learning mindset, provide guidance on creating and managing an intake process and a healthy backlog, and facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies. The role includes aligning teams to Enterprise Agile standards and practices, coaching team members through change, facilitating discussions and decision-making processes, resolving conflicts, and identifying and resolving organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance. Additionally, the Senior Agile Coach provides feedback to management regarding the progress of Agile adoption within their teams and helps form and sustain the DMT Agile Center of Excellence.
