Our 138‑bed inpatient hospital and outpatient programs serve adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric and chemical dependency needs. About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you'll support our kitchen operations by preparing, organizing, and serving meals that meet a variety of dietary guidelines. You'll help ensure our patients, visitors, and staff receive safe, nutritious, and well‑presented meals every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Prepare, portion, and serve meals on tray lines with accuracy
- Label, date, store, and rotate food items according to safety standards
- Receive, check, and properly store food and supply deliveries
- Monitor and document food and refrigeration temperatures
- Follow all dietary, safety, and quality control guidelines
- Assist the Cook with special meal requests and catered functions
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to prepare appropriate quantities of food for each meal service
- Knowledge of safe food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to assist with various cooking and prep tasks
- Reliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitude
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current negative TB test or medical clearance
- Must meet fingerprint clearance requirements
