This Opportunity

WSP is currently searching for a Air Quality / GHG Engineer to join our New York, NY office. You will be a part of our Sustainable Infrastructure practice where you will you will provide air quality & GHG advice and technical support to our clients throughout the WSP organization, you will work with numerous clients in various sectors including transportation, industrial, waste management, oil & gas and renewable energy. Your work will include supporting permitting, air monitoring, dispersion modeling, NEPA analysis, health risk assessments, greenhouse gas analysis, sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance reporting. Additionally, you will prepare proposals and conduct business development with support from senior staff.

Your Impact

• Perform NEPA and CEQA air quality and greenhouse gas analyses for projects throughout the country.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for our clients, agencies and the public.
• Investigate and complete required air quality permits for our clients in various industries.
• Assist with development and scoping of projects.
• Work with local, national, and international teams in executing project work.
• Comply with regulatory requirements pertaining to air quality and greenhouse gas modeling and modeling regarding data integrity, documentation, procedures, training, analysis protocols, and record compliance and retention.
• Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.
• Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Remain current in latest air quality and greenhouse gas regulations and methodologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation :

Expected Salary (all locations) : $73,1000 - $125,400

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
