THOR Solutions is actively seeking a Shipboard Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (AC&R) Mechanical Technician to support at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA. The Technician will provide full-time onsite contracted support to MARMC.
Typical Responsibilities : The candidate’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions :
- Provide Full-Time Onsite Support as well as Surge Support as tasked for the following Code 252 cognizant equipment :
Centrifugal Air Conditioning Plants,
Location : Primarily onsite at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.

High Pressure Manifolds, Low Pressure manifolds, Bleed Air Systems, Masker Air Systems, Prairie Air Systems, Dehumidifiers, Sonar Dome Pressurization System, Centrifugal Air Conditioning (A / C) Plants, Reciprocating A / C Plants, Ship’s Service Refrigeration System, Chilled Water Pumps, High Pressure Air Compressors (HPACs), Low Pressure Air Compressors (LPACs), Medium Pressure Air Compressors (MPACs), Weapon Systems Air Compressors (WSHPAC’s), Emergency Breathing Air Compressors (EBACs), High Pressure Breathing Air Compressors (HPBAC), De-ballast Air Compressors (DBACs), Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Air Compressors, LP / HP Dehydrators
