Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Paulsboro, NJ at East Coast Transport LLC. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating shipments, monitoring delivery progress, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of transportation logistics and supply chain management
- Experience with dispatching software and systems
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work in shifts and handle high-pressure situations
- Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferred
