WHAT YOU WILL DO
Light electrical work : changing lights, ballasts, GFIs, etc. Help maintain the electrical infrastructure on the Lake Forest and Rancho Capistrano campuses.
Duties may include :
- Install, repair, maintain, and test building electrical systems including, switches, switchgears, etc.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
- Perform semiskilled and unskilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
- Comply with company, federal, state, and local safety, ethics, and environmental rules, regulations, and policies.
- Install and hook up basic electrical equipment following all rules and building codes.
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and wiring problem
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures; utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolds, and other resources as needed.

Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $25.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
