Position : Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manager
Position Overview :
The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manager is responsible to the CEO for all aircraft maintenance functions across multiple certifications (Part 145, Part 135, and Part 141). This leadership role oversees employees and processes to ensure the safe and expeditious maintenance of both customer and company aircraft, including modification work and additional maintenance services. The role also leads and reviews Maintenance and Avionics Business Development efforts.
Key Functional Areas :
Maintenance Operations :
Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Manage operational and intermediate level maintenance.
- Plan and execute daily, short-term, and long-range maintenance schedules.
Aircraft Modifications and Off-Site Repairs :
Supervise aircraft modification work.
Business Development :
Lead and drive maintenance and avionics business development activities.
Leadership & Compliance :
Provide strong leadership and direct management to ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Qualifications : Licensing :
FAA Airframe & Power Plant License and IA desired.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years of recent aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role; or
Additional Experience :
Prior hands-on maintenance experience and senior supervisory roles in military aviation or commercial aviation operations are a plus.
