Job description
A company is looking for a Performance Engineer to advance the design and deployment of aircraft performance models and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, calibrate, and validate aircraft performance models using various data sources
Analyze aerodynamic and propulsion characteristics to optimize performance across flight phases
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate performance models into production systems
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
5-10 years of experience in aircraft performance engineering or operational analysis
Strong understanding of aerodynamic theory and flight mechanics
Proficiency with Python for numerical modeling and data analysis
Experience handling and analyzing recorded flight data
