STS Engineering Solutions (STSES), a trusted provider of technical services to 14 CFR Part 91, 121, 135, and 145 operations, is hiring an Aircraft Records Specialist in Denver, Colorado . This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled records professional to support a key airline client on-site while contributing to the success of one of the most respected engineering teams in the industry.
This is a full-time, onsite contract position expected to last 3 to 12 months , with potential for extension. A full benefits package is included.
About the Role
As an Aircraft Records Specialist, you’ll ensure the accuracy and compliance of aircraft, engine, and component records in accordance with FAA regulations and internal company procedures. You will process maintenance transactions, audit records, and support data integrity using TRAX, AMOS, and related M&E tracking systems.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in both independent and collaborative settings. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of aircraft records critical to safe and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Update maintenance task requirements and time-controlled records in TRAX and / or AMOS
Process component installation and removal transactions
Audit line and base maintenance work packages
Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks
Perform data entry, scanning, indexing, and electronic document filing
Audit and correct documentation errors in FlyDocs
Run reports and provide record-keeping support as needed
Support additional tasks related to aircraft records as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of aircraft records processing and auditing experience
Proficiency in M&E tracking systems (e.g., TRAX, AMOS, eMRO, SCEPTRE, Maintenix, etc. )
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong computer and keyboarding skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and web-based platforms
Ability to sit for long periods and perform detailed data entry tasks
Strong math skills and attention to detail
U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
High-performance mindset and willingness to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with TRAX and / or AMOS
Higher education degree (aviation-related preferred)
Experience with aircraft / engine induction or lease return record assembly
Familiarity with FAA regulatory compliance for aircraft record retention
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat DC , Microsoft Teams , OneDrive , and SharePoint
