Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The day-to-day responsibilities for these maintenance positions will focus on machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, and electrical systems. The role includes supporting and providing ongoing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment associated with the assigned areas of the plant once installations are complete.
Responsibilities
- Oversee new equipment installation, setup, modification, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to OEM specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, bring production back online, and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrences.
- Inspect and check equipment for proper operating condition, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts, and maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems including repair, and rework to meet and maintain specifications and tolerances.

Work Environment
This role is based in a massive, new construction, battery manufacturing facility. The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. The facility is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2025, running 24 / 7 on a 3-2-2 pattern with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid lunch. There will be both day and night shifts. Until late spring of 2024, the work schedule will be a standard 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday. Once the plant is operational, the maintenance teams will transition to a 3-2-2 pattern on day shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00
