We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Sheet Metal / Structures Technician specializing in depot-level modifications and new systems integrations for ouroperations on CH53E / K aircraft located at MCAS Miramar, CA . This role is essential to supporting the upgrade modifications, repairs and inspection of aircraft airframes to ensure optimal aircraft readiness and operational capability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform depot-level modifications and new structural integrations and existing structures modifications on the airframe.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to address and resolve complex structural issues to include documenting inconsistencies and non-conformances, redline documentations and suggested install corrective actions.
- Document all maintenance actions in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance and safety standards, including adherence to Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790 and local SOP and GOPS compliance guidelines.
- Support aircraft inspections and acceptance procedures and modifications as required.
- Ensure all tools, test equipment, and consumables are calibrated and maintained per established policies.
