Job Duties :

Greets crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Drives / operates catering equipment and vehicles in a safe manner.

Loads and unloads aircraft supplies to and from high lift catering trucks.

Uses and works from lift equipment to heights at approximately 40 feet to service aircraft.

Audits and replenishes inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft.

Maintains catering log and records in accordance with company procedures.

Fuels truck and performs daily safety checks in accordance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the catering trucks.

Ensures catering areas are always kept organized and clean.

Ships and receives supply orders; restocks inventory daily.

Wash dishes and equipment as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications :

Must be a local (in-state) resident.

High School diploma or GED.

Valid In-State Drivers License.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.

Experience driving box truck and / or ramp experience preferred

Physical requirements :

Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds and / or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.??

Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.??

Working conditions :

Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.

Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
