Salary : $23-29 / hr

The Welder position is a vital member of the Manufacturing Team contributing to our safety culture, providing high productivity, high quality welds, flexibility in assignments, and supporting continuous improvement in the following capacities :

Responsibilities include :

• Perform FCAW (Fluxcore) and Tig welds on a variety of thicknesses, sizes, and orientations of equipment
• Read and interpret engineered drawings and job travelers
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Use basic hand tools such as tape measure, level, square, etc.
• Follow established safety and quality policies, procedures, and practices
• Safely use overhead crane and lifting equipment
• Maintain and complete all required documentation and electronic records

Required Qualifications

Desired Experience and Skills

The position requires a 3G TIG plate test. A 3G test is a Vertical uphill test on 1 / 4" Stainless Steel plate open root. The welder will be required to produce a full penetration weld, that is acceptable per D1.6 visual standards and pass an Xray examination.
