Delivery Supervisor – Sacramento, CA

Pay / Hours :

55,434 - $71,494.00 Annual Salary

40+ Hours per week, May include weekends

Responsibilities (See full job description for more details) :

Supervise truck departure times.

Update sales and customer service regarding any late departures.

Answer driver and sales team calls to resolve delivery issues.

Ensure hot shots and tailgate to go out on time.

Assign backhauls to drivers by territory.

Maintain current route manifest in driver bins.

Keep driver and account keys organized and updated.

Supervise delivery equipment to ensure organization and cleanliness of equipment.

Communicate all significant delivery changes to the Sales Team and Customer Service.

Work with Manager and supervise time clock use and resolve any issues.

Supervise Driver complaints and delivery issues, ensuring corrective actions properly taken as directed by manager.

Supervise driver equipment room for cleanliness and ensure delivery equipment remains in property working order

Supervise box truck CDL candidates through the training program.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

A minimum of two years working in delivery, in a leadership capacity.

Must have a current Class A CDL, with driving and account delivery experience.

Must have two years of working directly with external customers.

Training in Customer experience (preferred).
